Because she had her satchel with her in this iteration when she went to the House of Dusk; Ashlin has gotten her runic magic on with it, so it is somewhat more... sizable, than your run-of-the-mill satchel.

Odds and ends:

~ a pair of glasses in a eyeglass case, dark blue
~ a pair of glasses in an eyeglass case, dark red (her emergency glasses)
~ a pen and several moleskin journals, pocket-sized
~ several hard to find manuscripts on mythology; specifically seers (hidden in a secret compartment of the satchel)
~ two cameras (one film, the other digital) and related supplies
~ two sharpies, black (on top of the two that were in her pockets)
~ her wallet, containing her id, and a decent chunk of change (having pulled out a sizable amount of money at the beginning of her quest to find her father)

~ leather-bound edition of Frank Herbert's Dune
~ a handful of other books, all very nice editions (including Stephen King's Dark Tower series, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune, and God Emperor of Dune, and a collection of Lovecraft short stories)
~ an over-large fisherman's sweater, in cream (belonged to her father)
~ several random pieces of clothing
~ a pair of sneakers
~ several random pieces of corde lisse and aerial silks clothing that she stuffed inside and forgot to remove (The shorts, tank top, and leggings from this one, and the leggings and vest of this one)
